An ancient parchment reveals the thrilling account of an eyewitness who tailed the apostles and recorded their activities in his diary. We don’t know his name, but we can read his story.
And what a story it is!
Within these pages you will read of miraculous cures, tenderness and compassion, courage, and unfailing loyalty and faithfulness.
But also of senseless cruelty, riots, murder, poisoning, stoning, intrigue, deception, earthquakes, typhoons, arson and even a shipwreck in the Mediterranean and a trial before the emperor in Rome.
After Jesus ascended into heaven the apostles felt abandoned. Pentecost enlivened their dynamism. With Peter, the Rock, and a tentmaker named Paul, the Christian movement did not end as expected with the death of its leader but instead has expanded to all nations.
And now is a Big Tent that is open to all.
