Early in life, all human beings follow the same process...your first practice experiences include. How to walk, go potty, how to talk, how to tie your shoelace, and use a spoon. So you see early in life a person is already learning how to practice. In this book, I have included different people with different professions to illustrate that... No matter the activity... It all requires practice... That is if... You want to win. Nothing is free, it all takes hard work. For whatever reason once in a while you will hear someone say, overnight success. To me there is no such thing as an overnight success, it takes, days, weeks, months, and even years to reach a goal. I have to give just a little bit of credit to the losers. Watching the losers helps the winners stay on track. Practice! Practice! Practice! And more practice! It’s all part of winning the game. The moment a person wakes up...the person faces choices, am I going to call in sick, what’s for breakfast, and so on... The winner is always focused because they have a goal to reach. According to history, Babe Ruth struck out 1330 times. It’s all about practice. Do you remember your first day, on your first job? Heart pounding, forehead beads of sweat as you face your first customer, but after a while, you were in the swing of things and it all had to do with… Practice, practice, practice. The learning process never ends, the learning process ends only when you quit. It’s all your choice.

My name is Johnny Estrada, I am a US Navy veteran and I live in southern California. My grandson’s trials and tribulations gave me the inspiration to write this book. This book is all about positive thinking, commitment, and perseverance. I was raised by a single mom, and whenever I failed at something, she would tell me...well, do it again but work harder and practice so I can do better next time. My passion is playing the piano, singing, and writing songs. I find it amazing that people pay me money to perform. Can you imagine getting paid for having fun? The quest has persistence and it requires a lot of work. The blue ribbon and the gold medallion require... Sweat, pain, and endurance. Winning is always the name of the game.
